Can you name the most annoying video game you have ever played in your entire life? You bet I can. This game on review will not require us any fancy video card or high-end machine with multiple cores. Therefore, there is no need to unpark your CPU cores or use Process Lasso like Sony Online Entertainment's PlanetSide 2. In fact even if you are still using a system that has nVidia's very first NV1 video card, this game will still run. This game is so illogically logical that all those abstract reasoning exams that you have taken years back or in your past life will look like A-B-C. In fact, too much of this game will destroy your sense of attachment to the reality - which happen to be your sanity. Not scrolling down to the bottom of this article right away may get you excited and get you want to guess the developer of this game; would it be Acclaim, Sony, Ubisoft, Square Enix, Namco, Nintendo, Konami, and so on - dotdotdot. You can give all the video game developers you know but only few gamers will be able to nail it.

Not for the Average Type of Gamers

This is not your usual average video game, and definitely not for the faint of heart. The developers of this extremely annoying franchise took their precious time to redefine the old boring video gaming experience that we know. Most people who like playing video games would normally own an internet-based digital distribution account on Electronic Art's Origin, Ubisoft's Uplay, Valve Corporation's Steam, Good Old Games (GOG), Green Man Gaming, and many more. You dun need any of these internet-based digital distribution accounts to acquire and play this game. Not until one of them decides to carry the franchise in the future anyway - harhar.

Well, I Lied...

Remember that part when I mentioned "The developers of this extremely..."; there are no developers as this game was developed by one single person who goes by the name "Chiku". There is just one developer so it should be "singulars and not plurals" bwehehe. Kidding aside, the truth is that Chiku really invested some precious time developing this annoying video game - 3 precious days. Three days to annoy a massive number of gamers from around the globe.

Nevertheless, Chiku's video game should draw the line between the posers and the pro gamers. Master this game and all the staff and guest writers of Hobo Gamers will honor you for all eternity.

The In-Game Controls and Help System

There is a help system but too bad they are written in Japanese for the Japanese version and in Chinese for the Chinese version - DUH! You do not need any fancy console joypads as this video game's in-game control is very very extremely ridiculously straightforward; all you need to keep in mind are UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT and nothing more.

On your computer keyboard press the UP arrow button to jump, the LEFT arrow button to go to the left, the RIGHT arrow button to go to the right, and the DOWN arrow button to go down (usually when you are entering giant pipes).

Without further ado, Hobo Gamers brings you the most annoying video game in the world. We got this from http://337.eleximg.com/, which is actually a Chinese version of the game dubbed as "Cat Mario" or originally called as "しょぼんのアクション Shobon no Akushon". In Cat Mario, your task is to conquer annoying logically illogical boredom causing levels to survive. Oh wait, you don't need to worry about lives as Cat Mario's got infinite. Just when I start to accept the theory that cats have nine lives, this game totally change my whole understanding of the secret lives of cats.

Behold. The Challenge.

The boring staff, writers, and contributors of Hobo Gamers challenges its readers to beat this full of craps video game called Cat Mario or Shobon no Akushon - whatever. You never know, I heard there are some gamers who have mastered this game and they were rewarded with the formula that will explain the origins of the universe on one whole sheet of paper.

If you still can't get enough action, you can get the 2.8MB Japanese version from its so-called official website. It should be the second link at the time of writing. An open source version can be found in SourceForge.

Furthermore, if you are like a cat that is full of curiosity, you may also try these ports from YoYo Games:
