Playdom recently released its side-mission dubbed "Call of the Wind" for their Facebook port of Marvel Avengers Alliance. True Marvelites should get Shanna Plunder or commonly known as
Shanna the She-Devil. One would have to pave through 8 easy tasks in order to get this free character. There is one problem though; the most infamous "Combat Validation Error" is back to wreck some annoyance to self-proclaimed gamers like moi. Fact is that you can make a meme out of a gamer's face because of this so-called "Combat Validation Error".
Combat Validation Error
If "Combat Validation Error" attacks, you will not be able to finish your mission(s). What would happen is the moment you gave your finishing strike to the last opponent in your battle, a cool blue rectangular box containing the texts "ATTENTION AGENT! A Combat Validation Error has occured. Please refresh the browser to continue playing Avenger's Alliance." would appear in the middle of your game screen. I mean, who would want to refresh their browsers every after battle - it would just be best if Playdom would create a game called "Refresh Your Browser" where one would just refresh their browsers until they get into the trance of sheer cosmic boredom.
The Temporary Workaround
Venom07 from Playdom forums suggested to not use "Distress Calls" in battles to dramatically lessen if not eliminate this extremely annoying error. What are "Distress Calls"!? I dunno. It's a call you need to make when you are in distress. Kidding aside, you have reached level 2 in Marvel Avenger's Alliance without knowing what "Distress Calls" is in this game bwehehe! So far so good, it works like a charm for me. Thank you so much Venom07, whoever you are.
